Marcos Geribello, founder

The history of Geribello Engenharia is closely linked to the history of its founder, Marcos Geribello, who since 1979, year of its foundation, has been working in the sector of Consulting Engineering with a lot of dedication.

Graduated in Civil Engineering from Poli USP in 1967. Marcos Geribello started working very early. His main experience was at an engineering company called Envil, from where he left to found Geribello Engenharia.

Shortly after its foundation, Geribello had already gained its clients´ trust and credibility.

At the very same time, FMC (Foot Machines Corporation) was building an industrial site in Caçapava/SP. Marcos Geribello, when invited to visit the construction site, performed what can be called his first official project management and supervision. He convinced the owners of the company to change the structure of the construction, ensuring better results with the lowest prices.

It was from there that Geribello Engenharia created a small portfolio of clients, enough for opening its first office on Avenida Brigadeiro Faria Lima. Initially, the company started operating in the industrial field, undergoing civil construction up to expanding to other fields of Consulting Engineering.

Creativity and competence to make the “new”

After this, it started to work with assets evaluations. At that time, the company was contracted for evaluating the assets of high-voltage lines. For this service, still unknown in Brazil, Geribello created an innovative methodology. The success of this work allowed Geribello to extend the original contract from 200 to 600 kilometers of evaluation.

Due to its capacity of creating new criteria that met the needs of each client, Geribello specialized itself in project evaluations. Among its clients we can mention the Banks Caixa Econômica Federal, Banespa, Safra and Banerj.

In the 80´s, Geribello Engenharia focused its activities on industrial and commercial enterprise management for clients such as Gradiente, BTR Brasil, CBF, Port Trading, SBT, JHS, GHE, among others.

At the end of the 80´s, its first works management contract for the housing program of Governo do Estado de Sao Paulo (CDHU) was closed. Today, there are more than 4 million square meters of constructed area managed by Geribello.

From 1995, it has been performing the administrative management of the Health and Care Program from the Sao Paulo City Hall, managing the area of logistics and structuring hospitals, providing up to 200 thousand appointments per month, with 93% of public satisfaction.

Finally, clients such as Eletropaulo, Dersa (Rodoanel Mario Covas), Metropolitan Company of Urban Transport, CDHU, PAS (Health and Care Program) and Foundation for Education Development started belonging to Geribello´s portfolio and we know that they are clients who always look for agility, capacity for dealing with difficult situations and better solutions.
